I was born in Rota, Spain in 1981, arriving in the U.S. a year later to grow up in 6 states and countless different houses. I joined the Navy in 2000; serving as a Photographer stationed in Yokosuka, Japan onboard the only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier until I was discharged. After graduating from the New England School of Photography in Boston, Massachusetts I moved to Austin to work as a forensic photographer for the state of Texas. I eventually gave in to my nomadic tendencies, leaving my home to join the crew aboard a 36 foot catamaran that crossed the Atlantic and eventually landed in, of all places, Rota, Spain. I recently returned to Austin to prepare my body of work for its first public viewing and eat tacos.
